So, I really want to enter Race for Life this year but I have such a giant issue with the fact that they don’t let men (above the age of 12) enter that it’s stopping me want to do it.

Like, it’s a brilliant cause and all but you see all these women running the race for their relatives with breast cancer/who have died from breast cancer and I just think but a husband couldn’t run for his wife or his daughter. A son couldn’t run for his mother.

Besides which, men can get breast cancer as well and things like this must just make them feel like more of an outsider. Not only do they have a life threatening disease, but the charity to raise money to combat said disease doesn’t seem to accept them.

Does anyone know any races like this in the UK that don’t exclude half the population? If you do, I’d love to know about them.

So, if you click that picture up there you will be taken to my Folksy shop where I have just cut the prices of almost everything. Some of it only by 50p, but some of it over half price.

Please buy stuff because storing it is taking up precious space on my shelves. Space that could be used for books. Alternatively, I will just fill the space up with more stuff that I’ve made.
